Phoenix 2013 Convention?

Mennonite Church USA is scheduled to hold its biennial convention in Phoenix, Arizona, in 2013.  In light of the passage of the Arizona immigration law, SB1070, the church is reconsidering its plans to meet in the state.

During the 9:30 a.m. Sunday School hour on August 22, David Breckbill will lead a discussion of this topic to determine what counsel to give to planners through our Central Plains Mennonite Conference leadership.  The session will be held in classroom 4 and will take the place of the class study Confession of Faith in a Mennonite Perspective that will resume on August 29.
