SHARON
KENNEL - We welcome our special speaker, Sharon Kennel. Sharon
has served as our Conference Minister since the founding of Central Plains
Mennonite Conference. She will retire
at the end of August. Sharon and her
husband, Cecil, live and farm near Strang.
They are parents to Angela Nitzsche.
BAKE SALE
- Claire Wiebe is hosting a bake sale at the church on Saturday, July 24, 1:00-5:00 p.m. to benefit Heifer
International. Stop by to pick up
something good to eat and support a great project.
FOSTER CARE CLOSET - Leigh Esau of the Foster Care Closet
will share an update with us next Sunday.
Remember to place donations of new or used clothes in good condition
for children through age 19 under the Economic Justice table in the
Fellowship Hall. This year FCC is also
helping families with school supplies.
Take advantage of back to school sales and help them meet this
important need. School supplies are
needed by Sunday, August 8.
WHERE'S DAVE? - David and Sharon Orr will return from
vacation on July 24. Contact our
congregational chairperson, David Breckbill, with any needs.
MONEY GIVEAWAY!! - The quarterly mission offering taken in
June for "Samaritan Grants" totaled over $1500. Therefore, we have 15 $100 grants to give
to anyone (friend, neighbor, co-worker, stranger) you know or meet who has an
immediate need.
There is only one stipulation. We want to hear how these are used; during
Sharing Time, through a bulletin announcement, etc. You can give the money and be reimbursed or
make arrangements for payment through the church treasurer. - Nurture

MISSION TRAVEL FUND - Designated contributions to the
mission travel fund will help cover the cost of Sara Brubacher's
travel.
PARENT-CHILD DEDICATION will be held next Sunday for
Kirsten Rocole, Kollyns Hohensee, and Sadie Waegli.
SUMMER AFTERNOONS - High School youth will next meet
at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday,
July 28 for mini-golf at Adventure Golf (S 56th St. just south of Old Cheney Rd.). Bring money if you want a snack. Greens fees are on Pastor David.
