Call to Worship

(James 1:27; Isaiah 58:6-8, 10)

Leader

Come and worship.  But remember the word of God-   Pure and genuine religion turns from the world's corrupt ways.

People

It frees those who are wrongly imprisoned;

Leader

It lightens the burden of those who labor.

People

It lets the oppressed go free and removes the chains that bind.

Leader

Come and worship.

People

Share your food with the hungry.

Leader

Come and worship.

People

Give shelter to the homeless.

Leader

Come and worship.

People

Give clothes to those who need them.

Leader

Come and worship God like this,

People

And your light will break forth like the dawn.
