THE TROYER FAMILY will present a worship service in song
for us next Sunday. This is a great
opportunity to invite friends and neighbors to church. Pray for the Troyers as they travel nearly
2000 miles from Fort St. John, British Columbia.

a potluck meal right after the worship service. There is always plenty of food, so please join us.

FAITH & THE ENVIRONMENT EVENTS - The Lincoln Area
Christian Educators are hosting events for people of all faiths to enjoy at
Spring Creek Prairie Audubon Center today from 2-5 p.m. and on Tuesday,
October 27, from 5-8 p.m. The events,
called Seeds of Faith, will focus on a service project of collecting
bountiful native seeds from the prairie to be used in prairie restoration projects. There will be music, refreshments, and
other outdoor activities. Free to
all.

DOMESTIC ABUSE AWARENESS -
October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month and the following facts may
surprise you: One in three women
report being physically or sexually abused by a husband or boyfriend at some
point in their lives. 49% of Nebraska
teens surveyed report being physically or emotionally abused by a dating
partner. And domestic violence
affects all cultures, religions, ethnic groups, and socio-economic sectors. The following website has great
